Fun & Creativity

Art

Through art children will develop creativity, sharpen fine motor skills, and build confidence. Through the curricula students will learn about famous artists and their works, while finding inspiration in storybooks, seasons, holidays, and nature. Students will explore many different ways to create while manipulating lots of different mediums: paint, clay, collage, pastel and more while creating special and unique works of art.

Music

Children will learn basic musical concepts such as: rhythm, melody, percussion instruments, and singing through musical games and interactions with the teacher and each other. Through the curricula music will be used to develop skills that enhance focus, concentration, cognitive abilities, motor skills, social skills and hand-eye coordination.

Movement

Our curriculum offers adapted physical education, which enhances each child's development through an inclusive, child-centered learning environment that encourages self-direction and social interaction. By design our approach to movement is initiated by children and facilitated by teachers. Through movement students develop fitness skills, motor skills, locomotor movement skills, control skills, and stability.
